Before you begin
By default, work requests will have the Requested status. However, you can change this in Settings > CMMS Settings > Work Requests.

Changing a work request to a work order indicates that the request has been accepted.
To do this:
- If the work request you want to transition to a work order isn't already open, click it in the work order list (in Maintenance > Work Orders).
You may have to filter for work requests to view it:
- Click the downward arrow for the Work Order Status field or type into it to search for a new status:
- Select a suitable status other than Requested (for example, Open).
- Click Save in the top menu bar.
This work request is now a work order, and will appear when filtering for work orders.
