Configure guest notifications

Before You Begin: Currently, this feature is only available to customers in our beta program. For more information about how to participate in Fiix beta projects, contact success@fiixsoftware.com. Looking for help with the existing version of the portal instead? See the Guest Work Requests section.

The Notifications section (in Settings > CMMS Settings > Guest Portal) is only displayed when the Require guest email address checkbox is selected. This is because the notifications are sent via email, so if you aren’t collecting guests’ email addresses when they access the portal, you won’t be able to send them notifications.

Settings

The following settings are available in the Notifications section in Settings > CMMS Settings > Guest Portal:

Setting Description
Notify guest when work request is submitted Select this checkbox to send guests an email when their work request is submitted.
Notify guest when work request is assigned Select this checkbox to send guests an email when their work request is assigned.
Notify guest when work request is completed Select this checkbox to send guests an email when their work request is closed.
