The settings in the Enable Guest Portal section control whether the guest portal is enabled, and (if so) how guests access it.
There are two ways that guests can access the portal:
- Tenant level: This means that there is only one portal for the entire tenant. If you have multiple sites, guests must select their site when they submit a work request. When the portal is enabled at the tenant level, guests access it from the Fiix login screen by clicking the Submit a Maintenance Service Request button (in the web app) or the Create a work request button (in the mobile app).
- Site level: This means that there is a separate portal for each site. Guests won't be able to access the portal from the Fiix login screen (the button isn't displayed), and will instead have to navigate directly to a site-specific URL that you provide to them. This also means that guests won't be able to access the portal from the mobile app, but will instead have to navigate to the URL in their mobile browser.
The following settings are available in the Enable Guest Portal section of Settings > CMMS Settings > Guest Portal:
|Enable guest portal at the tenant level||Select this option to enable the portal at the tenant level. For more information, see the definitions above.|
|Enable guest portal at the site level||
Select this option to enable the portal at the site level. For more information, see the definitions above.
For your convenience, when you select this option, the app displays the site-specific URLs directly below this setting. It only displays URLs for the sites guests have access to. To learn how to give guests access to additional sites, see Configure guest permissions for the work request portal.
Send the appropriate URLs to guests so that they can submit work requests.
|Disable guest portal||Select this option to disable the portal entirely. When this option is selected, the app doesn't display the button on the login screen, and guests can't submit work requests.|
