The work order form can be customized for different user groups. You can hide certain fields and tabs, or make them mandatory.
To do this:
- Navigate to Maintenance > Work Orders and select any work order.
- In the top right corner, click the Settings icon and Switch to another profile:
- Select the user group you want to customize the work order form for.
The app displays the work order form as it is shown to that user group. - To hide a full tab or field from a user group:
- Click the Settings icon and Rearrange:
- Click the tab you want to hide.
- Click the Hide icon:
Note
You may have to leave the work order and return to see your changes reflected on the form.
- Click the Settings icon and Rearrange:
- To hide or display columns in tabs:
- Click the Settings icon and Rearrange:
- Click the tab you want to configure.
- Click the Select visible elements icon:
- Select or deselect the fields as needed:
- Click OK.
- Click the Settings icon and Rearrange:
- To make a field mandatory:
- Click the Settings icon and Rearrange:
- Click the Customize icon:
- Select the Required checkbox, and then click OK:
- Click the Settings icon and Rearrange:

To undo any changes, click the Settings icon and Reset to default:
