Create a new maintenance type

Maintenance types allow you to classify work orders according to their purpose. Each maintenance type is associated with a color and easily visible in the work orders list.

To create a new maintenance type:

1. Navigate to Settings > CMMS Settings.
2. Click the Lookup Tables tab. 
3. In the Maintenance Type table, click the Add icon:
   
4. Enter a name and description for the new maintenance type, and pick an associated color:
   
5. Click OK.
6. Click Save in the top menu bar.
