Fiix MAX in the mobile app
Ask a question
To open the chat window, click or tap the Fiix MAX button above the More button:
To enter your question or command into the text field, tap the Send () button. After processing (which can take up to 6 minutes), Fiix MAX generates a response:
Continue the conversation and retain your chat history automatically by sending another message in the text field, or when applicable, selecting one of the topics or assets Fiix MAX suggests:
Navigate to source record
See sources and related CMMS records by clicking Show on the Sources tab when included in a Fiix MAX response.
When you click a record from the Sources tab, it opens a read-only window of that record on top of your current page (and doesn't navigate you away from anything in-progress you may have open).
Edit prompt
To edit a previously-sent message, press and hold your message, then tap Edit () from the menu that appears. Fiix MAX will regenerate a new response that replaces the previous one.
Copy prompt
To copy your message or prompt to your clipboard, long-press (tap and hold) the message in the chat window to bring up a menu with the copy button. Tap Copy from this menu to save the message to your clipboard.
Copy Fiix MAX response (quick-copy)
To instantly copy Fiix MAX's response to your clipboard, click the quick-copy button () that appears after each Fiix MAX response:
The quick-copy button copies Fiix MAX’s most recent response text. It doesn't copy the prompt, links to assets or work orders, suggested topics, citations, images, or files.
Copy selected text
To copy a selection of Fiix MAX’s response, long press (tap and hold) the text and adjust the selection using the selection pins. When the selection is ready, users tap Copy to save the selected text to their clipboard.
Close chat window
To close the chat window, click the Close button (). You can also press the upper bar and drag it down to close the chat window.
Closing the chat window doesn't end any in-progress responses, and doesn't clear your chat history.
Clear chat history
Clear the chat history by tapping the Menu button and then Clear history.
Fiix MAX mobile app FAQ

Can I give a user access to Fiix MAX on the mobile app, but not the desktop app (and vice versa)?
No. Anyone with access to Fiix MAX has access to the chatbot on both mobile and desktop.
Can I hide or move the Fiix MAX icon?
No. You can only remove the icon by losing access to Fiix MAX.
Does Fiix MAX respect user permissions on mobile?
Yes. Fiix MAX only refers to data from the sites the user has permission to access, and respects edit and view permissions assigned to the user.
If the user has limited their own view on mobile (using a filter or other temporary, self-applied limit), Fiix MAX doesn't limit its responses to the filtered selection.
What can I do while Fiix MAX is generating a response?
After sending a message, you can close the chat box and navigate the mobile app while Fiix MAX loads a response. You can also interact with previous messages in the chat (e.g. opening links to CMMS records) without interrupting the thinking process.
Navigating to a new app or locking the device for longer than the device-specific timeout (typically around 30 seconds) will interrupt the process and cancel the response. This includes clicking on a Help Center link that Fiix MAX provides. When you return to the Fiix application after navigating away, Fiix MAX displays an error indicating the interrupted request.
Quitting the app also cancels Fiix MAX's response.
Conversation history is retained after an interrupted request, allowing users to review prior messages even though the response was cancelled.
Can I edit work orders opened in Fiix MAX?
No. Work orders are read-only when opened in Fiix MAX even if you have edit permissions for it. To edit a work order, hide the chat window and go to Work Orders using the navigation menu.
Does opening an asset or work order in Fiix MAX make me lose my current place in the app?
No. Using a Fiix MAX link opens the record in a new window on top of the chat box. Close the record and hide the chat box to return to your current place in the app.
This ensures you don't lose in-progress work when opening records in Fiix MAX.
Is chat history shared between the mobile and desktop applications?
No. Mobile chat history is stored locally on the device and is independent of desktop chat history. Conversations are not synchronized across devices, and you can't seamlessly continue a conversation started on one device from another.
You can have different, simultaneous chats on mobile and desktop while logged into the same account and tenant.
What do I do when Fiix MAX times out?
Some questions may cause Fiix MAX to time out. Timeouts happen after 6 minutes of processing time. If Fiix MAX times out, please simplify your prompt and try again.
