Most of the setup for Fiix Maintenance Copilot is completed on our side.
The only step you need to take is uploading documents for your assets (see below) so that Copilot can include them when building its asset-specific knowledge base.
Upload documents
Fiix Maintenance Copilot uses uses My Fiix Knowledge Base—your uploaded documents and maintenance histories (work orders, tasks, etc.)—to automatically build a specific knowledge base for each of your assets. This knowledge base allows it to answer asset-specific questions using information from the asset’s documents and maintenance history (work orders, tasks, etc.).
The quality of the answers it can provide will depend on the quality of the knowledge base and the amount of data it includes. In other words, the more information you provide, the better the answers will be. For best results, we recommend uploading at least one document for each of your assets.
To upload a document:
- Go to Assets > All Assets.
- Click the asset you want to add the document to.
- In the Files tab, click the + button:
- Click the file you want to upload.
Note
- Only PDF, DOCX, and TXT files are accepted.
- Currently, diagrams and schematics in files cannot be processed. Only text content will be included in training.
- Repeat steps 2-4 for any other assets you want to add documents to.
