Before you begin
Plans: Professional, Enterprise
Permissions: Access to Fiix MAX
Most of the setup for Fiix Maintenance Assistant Experience (MAX) is completed on our side.
The only steps you need to take is uploading documents for your assets (see below) for Fiix MAX to learn from and give your users access to Fiix MAX by assigning them licenses. These documents will then be included in your Fiix knowledge base.
Upload documents
Fiix MAX uses uses your Fiix Knowledge Base—your uploaded documents and maintenance histories (work orders, tasks, etc.)—to automatically build a specific knowledge base for each of your assets. This knowledge base allows it to answer asset-specific questions using information from the asset’s documents and maintenance history (work orders, tasks, etc.).
The quality of the answers Fiix MAX can provide depends on the quality of the knowledge base and the amount of data it includes. In other words, the more information you provide, the better the answers will be. For best results, we recommend uploading at least one document for each of your assets.
To upload a document:
- Go to Assets > All Assets.
- Click the asset you want to add the document to.
- In the Files tab, click the + button:
-
Click the file you want to upload.
Note
- Only PDF, DOCX, and TXT files are accepted.
- Currently, diagrams and schematics in files cannot be processed. Only text content will be included in training.
- Repeat steps 2-4 for any other assets you want to add documents to.
