To learn more about how to use it, and to see a list of example questions, see Ask questions in Fiix Maintenance Copilot and Example questions for Fiix Maintenance Copilot.
What languages does Fiix Maintenance Copilot support?
Copilot automatically responds in the same language you use to ask questions, as long as it is one of our supported languages. Currently, these include (but are not limited to) Spanish, French, Chinese, Korean, Hindi, and Gujarati.
Some predefined messages such as the initial greeting may still be displayed in English.
Where does Fiix Maintenance Copilot get its answers?
For general questions, it uses the information right here in our help center.
For asset-specific maintenance questions, it uses a knowledge base that’s created automatically for each of your ARP assets. Each asset’s knowledge base includes:
- The asset’s maintenance history (work orders, tasks, etc.)
- Any manuals you’ve uploaded
Its answers are only as good as the information included in the knowledge base. In other words, the more information you provide, the better the answers will be. For best results, we recommend uploading at least one document for each of your ARP-enabled assets.
For "talk to your data" questions, Copilot retrieves the data directly from your CMMS.
How long does Fiix Maintenance Copilot retain chat history?
Your chat history is only retained in the chatbox until you log out of the CMMS. The next time you log in, your chat history will have been cleared and you will not be able to access it.
However, all chat histories are saved in the system to better improve responses.
Are the knowledge bases for my assets secure?
Your assets’ knowledge bases are only accessible to your organization’s instance of ARP and Fiix Maintenance Copilot; other customers (and their instances of ARP and copilot) don’t have access to your knowledge base.
How do I give feedback about answers?
Giving regular feedback—both positive and negative—will help the copilot improve its answers over time.
You can give feedback about answers using the thumbs up and thumbs down icons beside each answer:
Then, click the reason for your feedback:
If you have detailed feedback about a specific answer, contact your Fiix representative. For best results, please include a screenshot or copy and paste the chat history in your message. Your Fiix representative will share your feedback with our development team.
Who gets access to Fiix Maintenance Copilot?
Currently, Fiix Maintenance Copilot is only available to customers participating in the beta program. Once it’s fully launched, everyone who has access to Asset Risk Predictor will automatically get access to the copilot.
Can I get access to Fiix Maintenance Copilot without ARP?
No, the copilot is only available within the Asset Risk Predictor (ARP) feature, so you must have ARP to get access to it.
Can I turn Fiix Maintenance Copilot off?
Fiix Maintenance Copilot can be turned off at the organization level, but not for individual users. If your organization wants to opt out, contact your Fiix representative.
Why do I have to wait for answers?
It may take the copilot a few seconds (up to 30) to search through knowledge bases for the right response. Please be patient.
Why didn't Fiix Maintenance Copilot recognize my asset?
In order for the copilot to recognize an asset, you must type the name exactly as it appears in your CMMS, including using the same casing (i.e. capitalization). For example, if the name in the asset record is "Feed Water Pump", you would need to type it exactly the same; copilot wouldn't recognize variations like "feed water pump" or "Feed water pump".
If copilot doesn't recognize an asset, type "start over". When prompted, type the asset name again, exactly as it appears in the asset record. Continuing the example above, you would type "Feed Water Pump".
