Before you begin
This feature is only available to ARP customers. To learn more about purchasing ARP, see ARP eligibility FAQ or contact your Fiix representative.
Most of the setup is completed on our side.
The only step you need to take is uploading documents for your ARP-enabled assets (see below) so that the copilot can include them when building its asset-specific knowledge base.
Upload documents
Fiix Maintenance Copilot uses your CMMS data to automatically build a knowledge base for each of your ARP-enabled assets. This knowledge base allows it to answer asset-specific questions using information from the asset’s documents and maintenance history (work orders, tasks, etc.).
The quality of the answers it can provide will depend on the quality of the knowledge base and the amount of data it includes. In other words, the more information you provide, the better the answers will be. For best results, we recommend uploading at least one document for each of your ARP-enabled assets.
To upload a document:
- Go to Assets > All Assets.
- Click the asset you want to add the document to.
Note: This asset must be one of the ones you’ve included in Asset Risk Predictor. - In the Files tab, click the + button:
- Click the file you want to upload.
Note: The file should use the naming convention mentioned above. - Repeat steps 2-4 for any other assets you want to add documents to.
