Before you begin
This feature is only available to ARP customers. To learn more about purchasing ARP, see ARP eligibility FAQ or contact your Fiix representative.
To open Fiix Maintenance Copilot, click the Copilot icon located in the top right corner of any page. The chat window opens and displays the intro message:
You can close (or reopen) the chat window by clicking the same icon in the top right corner.
Copilot always starts the conversation by asking if you want to chat about a specific asset. Depending on which option you choose, see either Ask asset-specific questions or Ask general questions below.
Tips
- It may take Copilot a few seconds (up to 30) to find the right response.
- You can restart the chat at any time by typing “start over”. Copilot will ask you the first question again, allowing you to change assets or switch between general and asset-specific questions.
Ask asset-specific questions
When chatting about a specific asset, you can ask questions about maintenance procedures as well as the asset's records and data (part of the "talk to your data" feature).
To ask asset-specific questions:
- Click Yes:
- When prompted, type the name of the asset you want to ask questions about:
All future responses will be about this asset unless you enter "start over".

If the response includes links to the asset or work orders, you can click one of the links to open the corresponding record in a new browser tab:
If the response includes multiple entries of your data, click List or Table to view it in different modes: - To switch assets or to start asking general questions instead, type “start over”.
The copilot will ask you the first question again:
Ask general questions
If you don't specify an asset to chat about, you can ask questions about your data that isn't specific to an asset, as well as how to use Fiix.
To ask general questions:
- Click No:
- Ask your questions:
- To start asking questions about a specific asset instead, type “start over”.
