Before you begin
Logged work can be edited, but not deleted, in the mobile app. To delete logged work, use the desktop (web) app.
Permissions: Admins, Managers, and Technicians can log work, complete tasks, and record themselves or others performing work.

Log work on a task
To log work on a task in the mobile app:
- In the mobile app, tap Work Orders (
).
- Tap the work order to log work on:
- Under the Tasks tab, tap Log work under any task:
- Log the technicians's name, the time spent on the task, and any additional notes:
- Leave the Complete task toggle on to complete (close) the task. Tap the toggle off to log work but leave the task open:
- Tap Save.
Edit logged task work
To edit work logged on a task:
- In the mobile app, tap work orders (
).
- Tap the work order to edit logged work on:

Under the Tasks tab, tap Log work on any task to edit its previously-logged work:
Note on task colours
The badge colours (stripes on the leftmost side of the task cards) show when work has been logged on a task:
- Blue badge shows work has been logged:
- Grey badge shows that no work has been logged:
- Green badge shows that the task has been marked complete:
Logged work can be edited on blue and green tasks. Grey tasks do not have any logged work to be edited.
- Blue badge shows work has been logged:
- Tap View previously logged work:
- Choose which previously-logged task work to edit:
- Edit the task information. This will rewrite the previously-logged task notes, including closing or re-opening the task.
- Tap Save.
About quick complete
Quick complete auto-completes all the listed tasks on the work order:
Quick complete will log work for each task with the following information:
- Completed by: the user who tapped Quick complete.
- Time spent: 00:00
- Task notes: None
- Task marked complete.
These auto-generated logs can be individually edited, if desired (see Edit logged task work above).
