Before you begin
This feature must be enabled by an administrator before you can use it. To learn more, see Enable parts in the mobile app.
You cannot add parts from another site in the mobile app. This functionality is only available in the web app.
If necessary, you can add parts to your work orders. To do this:

In the feature menu, tap Work orders.

Tap Parts:

Tap the + button.

If using iOS, tap Add Part.

Find the part you want to add by using the scan button (
) in the search bar, or search for its name, code, location, inventory code, description, make, or model number. You can also filter for parts that are on the associated asset's bill of materials (BOM) by tapping the Filter button (
) and sort parts by code and name (either in ascending or descending order) by tapping the Sort button (

Note
Parts associated with the asset's BOM will be highlighted green in the list.

Select the part.

If the part is available at multiple locations, select the location you want to use.

If the work order is a multi-asset work order, select the asset you want to add the part for.

Enter the number of parts used:
Tip
If you are planning out the work order, you can add the suggested quantity of parts instead.

Tap Save.

Tap Save on the Add Parts screen.
Note
Although you can change the quantity of parts used by tapping Use Parts, the part cannot be removed from the work order through the mobile application.
