Parts can be deleted, but only when they aren't associated with certain records. If a part is associated with an open work order, receipt, or asset-associated BOM group, then you must remove these associations before the part can be deleted. In these cases, there are multiple options to choose from.
In this article:

Can this part be deleted? Delete parts errors and next steps
Parts can't be deleted when they're associated with an open work order, a receipt, or asset-associated BOM group. Use this table to determine whether the part can be deleted or to understand and fix an error you've received.
A part receiving a deletion error must be investigated to remove its associations before it can be deleted. Deleting a part that has multiple errors shows only one error message at a time.
For users working with large numbers of parts and associations, we suggest working with your Fiix representative to complete this process.
