Bill of materials groups (BOM groups) are components lists that contain the parts necessary for supporting work on an asset. Parts can be removed from a BOM group regardless or whether the BOM group is associated to an asset. Removing a part from a BOM group does not delete the part from the system.
Remove parts from BOM group
- Navigate to Supplies > Bill of Materials Groups.
- Click the BOM group to edit.
- Select the checkbox of the parts to remove from the BOM group and click the Delete icon (
).
- In the confirmation pop-up, click OK:
