Before you begin
Only administrators can deactivate stock. Non-administrators can’t deactivate stock or view inactive stock records.
If you no longer need a stock record, you can deactivate it to prevent other users from accessing it. For example, deactivating stock prevents technicians from accidentally consuming it in work orders.
You can only deactivate stock if the quantity on hand is 0 and it’s not associated with any of the following items:
Active scheduled maintenance
Open purchase orders
Open work orders
Open cycle counts
Receipts
To deactivate a stock record:

Do one of the following to open a stock record:
Click a stock record from the list in Supplies > Current Stock.
Click a part record in Supplies > Parts and Supplies, and then click a stock record on the Stock tab.

Switch the status toggle to Inactive:
To deactivate multiple stock records at once:
Navigate to Supplies > Current Stock.
Select the checkboxes next to any records you want to deactivate.

Click More > Deactivate All Selected:
