The Asset Insights List dashboard provides an overview of your asset insights:
To view the Asset Insights dashboard, navigate to Assets > Asset Insights:
The dashboard is divided into 2 sections, which are described below.
Maintenance Efficiency section
This section displays a graph showing the trend of average maintenance efficiency for these assets over the past year. Your maintenance efficiency is the percentage of work orders that were generated via scheduled maintenance. We recommend that you aim for a maintenance efficiency of 80% or higher.
The first part of the graph shows a blue line that represents the trend for average maintenance efficiency in previous months. The data points (dots) along the line are color-coded to show whether your maintenance efficiency meets our recommended target or whether it needs improvement.
The right-most part of the graph shows our predicted average maintenance efficiency for the next month. As with the historical data points, our prediction is color-coded to show which range it falls in.
The graph will show up to a year of maintenance efficiency data. If you have less than a year of data to display, the time span adjusts to fit the amount of data you have. For example, if you only have 10 months of data for your top assets, the graph will show 10 months instead of a full year.
Tip
You can also view separate maintenance efficiency graphs for each asset you generate insights for. To learn more, see View the Asset Insights dashboard.
Asset Insights Overview section
This section displays a table with a high-level overview of your asset insights:
The table includes the following columns:
Column | Description |
---|---|
Asset Name | The asset’s name. |
Asset Code | The asset’s code (from the Code field of the asset record). |
Category | The category assigned to the asset. |
Asset Maintenance Efficiency |
The asset’s maintenance efficiency for last month. |
Prediction for Next Month | The predicted maintenance efficiency for the next month, with an arrow indicating whether it’s an increase, decrease, or no change. |
Number of Closed WOs | The total number of work orders for that asset in the past month, with an indication of whether this value is high, low, or normal compared to the average for this asset. |
Maintenance Hours | The total number of maintenance hours for that asset in the past month, with an indication of whether this value is high, low, or normal compared to the average for this asset. |
You can view more detailed insights for any of these assets by clicking the asset name and selecting View Dashboard in the drop-down list:
