Sort columns

Before you begin

Plans: Professional and Enterprise

Audience: Creators

You can sort data in your look by a single column or by multiple columns. For example, you could sort work orders first by date and then by asset.

To sort columns:

  1. Open the look in edit mode. To learn how, see Edit a look.

  2. In the Data section, click the arrows in the header for the column you want to sort by:

Note: If you're sorting by multiple fields, this should be the first column you want to sort by.

  3. (Optional) To reverse the sort order, click the arrow again.

  4. (Optional) To sort by additional columns:

    1. Hold down the Shift key and click the arrows in the header for the next column you want to sort by.

    2. (Optional) To reverse the sort order for this column, continue holding down the Shift key and click the arrow again.

    3. (Optional) Repeat steps a and b for any additional columns you want to sort by.

  5. Click Save.
