If you've already created a look that would be useful as a tile in a dashboard, you can still add it later without having to recreate it as a brand new visualization tile.
To add an existing look to a dashboard:

Open the look you want to add. To learn how, see View looks.

Click the gear icon:

In the menu, select Save > To an existing dashboard:

Click the dashboard you want to add the look to.

Do one of the following:

To add the look as a tile on the dashboard without linking them, click Save to Dashboard. This means that you'll be able to edit the tile and the look independently.

To add the look to the dashboard and maintain the link between them, click Add to Dashboard. This means that any changes you make to the look will be reflected in the dashboard tile, and vice-versa.

Tip
Once you've added the look to a dashboard, you can change how it appears in the dashboard by moving it, resizing it, etc. To learn how, see Edit a dashboard.
