Give a user access to the operator portal

The operator portal is a separate add-on feature that can only be accessed by users with the Lite license. Lite licenses need to be purchased through your Fiix representative. Once you've purchased a Lite license, you can assign it to a user to grant them access to the operator portal. 

Users assigned to the operator portal log in at the same URL as your organization (e.g. yourorganization.macmms.com). After logging in, Lite users will see the operator portal instead of the standard CMMS:

To assign a user the license to access the operator portal:

1. Navigate to Settings > Users.
2. Click the user to edit.

3. If the user status is Active, change it to Deactivated:
   

   Note

   If the License drop-down is not visible at this stage, then your CMMS does not have access to Lite license or the operator portal. Contact your Fiix representative to have the feature set up.

4. Click the License dropdown and select Lite License Type:
   
5. Click Change to confirm the user will become a Lite user and lose access to the standard CMMS:
   
6. Click the Status drop-down to change the user status to Active:
   
7. The user is now active as a Lite user, and will access the operator portal the next time they log on.
