About the Lite users user group

When a user is assigned a Lite license, then they can be assigned to the Lite users user group. Users assigned both the Lite license and to the user group can access work and assets assigned to the user group in the operator portal.

The Lite users user group is automatically created when Lite licenses are activated in your CMMS. 

Users assigned a Lite license can only be assigned to the Lite users user group, and can't be assigned to other user groups. Lite users can only be assigned to one location.

To assign a user to the Lite users user group:

1. Navigate to Settings > Users.
2. Click the user to edit.
3. Ensure that the user is assigned a Lite License Type license:
   
4. Under the Access Control tab, click Add:
   
5. In the Add user groups and access window, the Lite users user group is automatically added to the user:
   

6. Select the site or location in the Access field:
   

   Note

   Lite users can only be assigned one location, and this field is mandatory. Lite users will only be able to work on assets and work orders at their location.

7. Click Save.
