You can assign one or more asset categories to a task group. Afterwards, the task group be will included on the following:
- Scheduled maintenance records associated with an asset with the same asset category
- Work orders created with the same asset category
- Work orders updated to have the same asset category
To assign an asset category to a task group:
- In Maintenance > Task Groups, open the task group you want to assign an asset category to.
- Click the Asset Category tab:
- Click the Add (
) button in the bottom left of the list:
- Search for a type in the Asset Category field, or click the drop-down to view all the available types.
- Select an asset category. For this example, we will be selecting Vehicles:
- Click OK.
- Repeat steps 3-5 for any other asset categories you want to assign.
- Once done, click OK.
The selected asset categories have been assigned to your task group.
