About audit trail

Before you begin

  • This feature is only available to administrators, and is currently limited to work orders.

  • This feature is currently in beta. To learn more, contact your Fiix representative.

The audit trail allows you to access a change log for your work orders, which can be helpful in tracking down specific changes, as well as gathering data for audits.

The feature tracks create, update, and delete actions (called "events") on work orders, such as:

  • The creation of the work order, its tasks, and its meter readings

  • Updates to work order fields such as its status and priority

  • The deletion of information such as suggested completion date and costs


The feature started tracking work order actions as of January 2019. You cannot view information for events that occurred prior to that date.

If necessary, you can limit the data you download so that it only includes changes made to specific work orders, to work orders for specific assets or sites, or by specific users. For example, you could use this feature to view a list of the changes made in work orders at your Toronto site:
