Lookup tables provide additional customization for your CMMS by allowing you to add or change options for fields like priority and maintenance type. For example, you could rename the “Highest” priority to “Urgent” or add a new “Installation” maintenance type.
You can add or edit options for the following fields:

| Certifications | The certifications that you can assign to users. These allow you to track and report on which users have received which certifications, and whether their certifications are up to date. |

| Charge departments | The departments (or cost centers) that add to the cost of running the business. | 67890 |
| Maintenance types | The types of maintenance that you can assign to help categorize maintenance work. |
Preventive Corrective |
| Meter reading units | The units you can use when recording meter readings. |

| Misc cost types | The types of miscellaneous costs that can be recorded in work orders. These represent ad hoc costs that arose during maintenance, that wouldn't already be tracked in other ways. |
Gas Non-inventory items |
| Priorities | The priority levels that you can assign to maintenance work. The order of the list determines the relative priority level, from top to bottom. In others words, the priorities at the top of the list are the most urgent. |

| Shipping types |
The shipping method, which you can include when generating purchase orders. Note: This field is only available on the Professional and Enterprise plans. |

| Work order statuses | The statuses that you can assign to work orders. These statuses represent where the work order is in the maintenance workflow. |

To add or edit values for a field (i.e. lookup table):
- Go to Settings > CMMS Settings.
- Click the Lookup Tables tab:
- In the table for the field you want to update, do one of the following:
- To add a new value, click the + button at the bottom of the list:
- To update an existing value, click the value you want to edit.
- To add a new value, click the + button at the bottom of the list:
- Fill in or update the fields provided:
The fields will vary based on which lookup table you're editing. - Click OK.
- Click Save.
