Before you begin
Asset Risk Predictor must be purchased separately from a Fiix representative. To learn more, see ARP eligibility FAQ.
Fiix Prescriptive Maintenance uses generative AI technology to extend the capabilities of your CMMS. It creates a knowledge base for your ARP assets from uploaded documentation and CMMS data (work orders, asset and sensor descriptions), and uses it to provide asset-specific suggestions and recommendations.
Activating Fiix Prescriptive Maintenance allows you to use the following features:
- Prescriptive work orders
- AI recommendations on the Sensor Risk Overview Dashboard
- Fiix Maintenance Copilot (also requires other settings to be set up)
While the actual activation must be done by a Fiix representative, users must upload their manuals and documentation to their respective assets.
Note
We recommend uploading at least one document per asset. However, if you don’t upload any documents for an asset, Fiix Prescriptive Maintenance will populate these fields with generic information it gathers based on the asset and sensor descriptions.
To activate Fiix Prescriptive Maintenance:
- Navigate to Assets > All Assets.
- Click the asset you want to add the document to.
Note: This asset must be one of the ones you’ve included in Asset Risk Predictor. - In the Files tab, click the + button:
-
Click the file you want to upload.
Note
- Only PDF, DOCX, and TXT files are accepted.
- Currently, diagrams and schematics in files cannot be processed. Only text content will be included in training.
- Repeat steps 2-4 for any other assets you want to add documents to.
- Once you’ve finished uploading your documents, contact your Fiix representative. They will work with our development team to transfer the documents so they can be used in the knowledge base.
