Audience: Administrators
By default, Asset Risk Predictor (ARP) defines the risk levels as follows:
| Risk level | Risk scores |
|---|---|
| Low | <300 |
| Medium | 300-800 |
| High | >800 |
However, if your organization wants to define risk levels differently, you can customize them so that they correspond to different risk scores.
To customize your risk levels:
- Go to Assets > Risk Predictor Settings:
- To change your risk levels (i.e. risk thresholds), enter new values in the Low Risk and/or High Risk fields:
Note: The application updates the Medium Risk field automatically based on the values in the other 2 fields. For example, if you entered "200" in the Low Risk field and "600" in the High Risk field, the Medium Risk field would automatically display "200 and 600". - Click Save.
The new risk level definitions will take effect the following day.
