Assign tasks (v6)

Tasks can be assigned to a user (where that user is responsible for completing the task) or to a user group (where any users in that group can complete the task).

To assign tasks:

1. If the work order you want to assign a task in isn't already open, click it in the work order list (in Maintenance > Work Orders).
2. Click the Tasks tab.
3. To assign a single task:
   1. In the Actions column for the task you want to assign, click the ellipses button.
   2. In the actions list, click Assign:
      
   3. Click the user or user group you want to assign the task to.
   4. Click Save.
4. To assign multiple tasks at once:
   1. Select the checkboxes next to the tasks you want to assign (or select the checkbox at the top of the list to assign all of the tasks):
      
   2. In the Actions drop-down list, click Assign:
      
   3. Select the user or user group you want to assign the tasks to.
   4. Click Save.
