There are two places you can add completion details:
- In the tasks associated with a work order
- In the work order itself
This article describes the process for adding completion details directly on a work order. If you have tasks associated with the work order, you can add completion details to the tasks instead.
To add completion details on a work order:
- If the work order you want to add completion details for isn't already open, click it in the work order list (in Maintenance > Work Orders).
- Click the Completion tab:
- To record which user completed the work order:
- In the Completed By field, click the Add button.
- Select the user who completed the work order.
- Click Save.
- To record when the work order was completed:
- In the Completion Date and Time field, use the calendar and time controls to enter the completion date and time.
- Click the checkmark button:
- To record how much time was spent on the work order, enter values in the Hours and Minutes fields.
- To add notes to the work order, enter them in the Completion Notes field.
- Click Save.
