Plans: Professional and Enterprise tenants with a multi-site configuration
No Site is an unspecified, default site. Assets and work orders without a site are assigned No Site by default:
How No Site appears in your CMMS depends on your setup:
- Most setups allow only one site, called No Site by default. In these setups, your assets are categorized under facilities, and No Site acts like a facility.
- Multisite setups are configured for Professional and Enterprise users that need more sites because they operate multiple facilities in more than one region. In these setups, No Site appears as a default site, but exists alongside other sites.
For all setups:
Assets and work orders without an assigned site are assigned No Site by default. To allow users to complete work orders without a site and see No Site dashboards, ensure that they have the appropriate user group and role permissions for that site.
In previous versions of Fiix, No Site behaved differently than other sites, and a summary of previous behavior can be found here. Now, No Site acts the same as other sites:
- it can be selected as a location filter
- user groups and permissions can be assigned to No Site
- assets and work orders without an assigned site are assigned No Site by default.
