Why are no work orders being generated from scheduled maintenance?
There are several possible reasons for this behaviour:
- If you're using v6 Equipment, it is currently not possible to generate a work order with a meter reading or event trigger.
- There may be an open work order related to the scheduled maintenance. By default, a scheduled maintenance record will not generate a new work order until the previously generated work order has been closed. You can check for open work orders in the Log tab under Work Orders Created.
If you want to override this rule, you can select the Create a new work order even if there are work orders not closed from this Scheduled Maintenance checkbox: - A work order has been manually generated prior to a fixed trigger date, and the next trigger schedule hasn't been adjusted.
Why does the Next Trigger Threshold column display the same date for multiple triggers?
The Next Trigger Threshold column in a scheduled maintenance's Scheduling tab displays the date for the nearest threshold among all the time-based triggers in the SM, not the nearest threshold for the specific trigger.
