Before you begin
You can only add existing meters to equipment. If you haven’t already created the meter you want to add, create it first and then add it to the equipment record.
It is currently not possible to generate a work order with a meter reading or event trigger in v6.

To add a meter to a piece of equipment:
- In Assets > Equipment, make sure that the Equipment button is selected:
- Click the name of the equipment you want to add the meter to.
- Click the Maintenance Log tab:
- In the Meters section, click + Meter:
The app displays a list of meters that haven’t been assigned to equipment yet. - Select the meter you want to add to the equipment:
- Click Save.
