You may want to add multiple assets to one scheduled maintenance record so that the work orders generated will be multi-asset work orders. There are two ways to do this:
- Add one asset at a time from the scheduled maintenance record
- Add one or more assets from the asset list
Note
Only assets in the same site can be added to a scheduled maintenance record.
Add an additional asset from the scheduled maintenance record
To add an additional assets to a scheduled maintenance record:
- Navigate to Maintenance > Scheduled Maintenance and click the record you want to add an additional asset to.
- Click Add another asset:
- Select an asset:
- (Optional) In the Copy Tasks From Asset field, select an asset which is already on the scheduled maintenance record to copy all of its existing tasks to the new asset.
Skip this step if you don't want the new asset to share any tasks with other assets on the record. - Click OK.
- Click Save in the top menu bar.
Add one or more additional assets from the asset list
To add multiple assets to a scheduled maintenance record:
- Navigate to Assets > All Assets or whichever asset list is most convenient for finding the assets you want to add (e.g. Equipment).
Filter the list as needed. For example, you may want to filter by asset category. - Select the assets you want to add to the scheduled maintenance record:
- In the top menu bar, click More, and then Add To Existing SM:
- Select the scheduled maintenance record you want to add the assets to.
- Click OK.
- Click Save in the top menu bar.
