Setting the estimated completion on a scheduled maintenance record automatically gives any generated work orders a suggested completion date. This date is generated based on the estimated completion time and time of generation.
For example, a scheduled maintenance record has an estimated completion time of one day and one hour, and generates a work order on October 1st at 12 PM. The work order's suggested start date will be the time of generation, and its suggested completion date will be October 2nd at 1 PM (one day and one hour later).
To set the estimated completion time on a scheduled maintenance record:
- Navigate to Maintenance > Scheduled Maintenance and click the scheduled maintenance record you want to edit.
- Enter a value in either or both of the fields under Estimated completion:
The Hours field has a maximum value of 23. - Click Save.
Any generated work orders will now have an automatically filled suggested completion date.
