Release notes: May 10, 2021

This release includes the following changes:

API enhancement

When you add an asset to a work order via our API (version 2.19.1), the task groups assigned to that asset's category are now added to the work order automatically. This is consistent with the behavior when adding an asset to a work order in the UI.

Mobile enhancements

This release includes the following mobile enhancements :

  • When you create a work order in the mobile app, any task groups assigned to the asset's category are now added to the work order automatically. Previously, task groups were only added automatically when you created work orders in the web app. This change provides a consistent experience for creating work orders across the web and mobile apps.

  • The Offline status indicator for assets is now gray, instead of red:

An Offline asset showing a gray indicator.
  • Improved accessibility in the Android app by updating button and icon colors. The new colors meet the WCAG 2.0 Level AAA/AA standard.

  • When you log in to the iOS app, the Work Orders feature is now displayed as soon as the app finishes syncing. Previously, you had to click the Let's Go button to access the app.
