- How is scheduled maintenance handled in the calendar?
How do start dates and suggested completion dates affect the calendar?
Start dates for tasks take precedence over the work order's scheduled completion date. That means that if a task has a start date, the app uses it to determine where the work order is displayed on the calendar. If there isn't a start date, the app uses the work order's suggested completion date instead.
This means that if you update the scheduled completion date, the work order will only move on the calendar if its tasks don't have start dates configured.
What happens if there are multiple tasks with different start dates?
In cases where a work order has multiple tasks with different start dates, it will be displayed on multiple dates in the calendar. For example, if Task 1 has a start date of September 3, and Task 2 has a start date of September 9, the work order is displayed on both September 3 and September 9.
How is scheduled maintenance handled in the calendar?
Although scheduled maintenance is displayed on the calendar, unlike work orders, you can't move them. Further, you also can't create new scheduled maintenance from the calendar (as you can with work orders).
