If your primary contact for a business is not the warranty contact, you can add an alternate contact that will be displayed on your warranty card.
Businesses with a warranty contact added will have a blue icon displayed ( ) in the Warranty Providers list, while businesses with no warranty contact will have a white icon ( ).
To add a warranty contact:
- In Assets > Equipment, click Settings:
- Click Warranty Providers:
- In the business entry you want to add a contact for, click the Actions icon ( ) and then Edit warranty contact.
Note
You cannot edit a business’ primary contact information here. You can only edit businesses in Supplies > Businesses.
- Click Save.
