These pre-release notes offer a preview of an upcoming release. As a result, some details may change between now and the actual release date.
Time tracker (beta)
Beta users on mobile now have access to the mobile time tracker feature. The time tracker, available to all Enterprise and Professional users on Nov 30, allows technicians to use a timer to automatically track and log time spent on work orders in the mobile app.
To turn on the time tracker on mobile (currently Beta users only):
- Navigate to CMMS Settings > Maintenance and Work Order tab on the web app (desktop).
- Under the Work Order Time Tracker (mobile app) heading, check the Allow users to track time using the work order time tracker checkbox.
- Click Save.
- The time tracker should now be available to users on mobile. Note that only users participating in the mobile beta program can access the feature until the full release later this month.
