Before you begin
Version: Projects are available with both v5 and v6 Work Orders (what does this mean?), but work orders cannot be added to projects in v6.
Plans: All plans
Permission: Access to scheduled maintenance
Projects are currently not visible on the mobile app.
Projects allow you to group together work orders, scheduled maintenance, and personnel for a shared initiative such as a facility upgrade or capital improvement plan. When used together with certain project-specific reports, they help you track the work being done as well as its associated costs.
You can access your projects in Maintenance > Projects:
You can associate work orders, scheduled maintenance, personnel, and files with a project. However, work orders and scheduled maintenance records can only be added to a project through their own page in Maintenance > Work Orders or Maintenance > Scheduled Maintenance respectively, not through the project page itself.
Projects can be active or inactive. Active projects are selectable in the Project field for work orders and scheduled maintenance. Inactive projects are not displayed.
Projects are specific to the site they were created in, and cannot be associated with work orders, scheduled maintenance, or personnel on a different site.
