Before you begin
This procedure only affects the web app. Session timeout for the mobile app can only be changed through a single sign-on (SSO) service.
Version: v6 (what does this mean?)
Audience: Administrators
Session timeout allows Administrators to set a maximum inactivity period limit, after which a user is logged out. The system's default session timeout is 60 minutes.
Session timeouts are the maximum amount of time a user can be inactive while remaining logged in. After a user has been inactive for the chosen amount of time, the user will be logged out and have to log in again. Session timeout applies to all users, but only users who meet the inactivity period limit are logged out once reaching the threshold.
By default (when the setting is off), session timeout is set for users to be logged out after 60 minutes of inactivity time. Toggle the session timeout on to change the default from 60 minutes to a different amount of time. The maximum amount of time allowed is 240 hours. If you were using a pre-existing session timeout configuration (in a previous version of Fiix), leaving session timeouts off will keep your previous settings.
