This release includes the following changes:
Transfer stock between sites
In this release, users can now transfer stock between locations. Parts stocked at one site can have some or all the stock transferred to another site. Transferring stock will update the amount of stock available at both sites, affecting the quantity on hand values at those locations. To complete a transfer, the part must be active as stock in both the sending and receiving locations.
To permission this, Admins can assign users the new page permission “Has ‘Transfer stock’ button on the Stock page”, which allows the user or user group to transfer stock.
After stock has been transferred, transfer history is recorded and viewable from the stock details page (Current Stock page > click the stock), on the parts details page (Parts and Supplies page > click the part), and in the Audit log.
Stock transfer is not compatible when FIFO is enabled on the CMMS, so users with FIFO currently can’t transfer stock.
