New: Sort work orders on mobile
The work order list on mobile can now be sorted, allowing users to customize how work orders are ordered in the list view on mobile. To sort the work order list, users tap the Sort icon () at the top of the work order list to select up to 2 criteria to sort by. After applying, the work order list is re-ordered according to the selected sort criteria.
For full details on sorting work orders and to see all sort criteria available, see Sort work orders on mobile.
To sort work orders:
- Tap the Sort icon:
- Select up to 2 sort criteria. The list will be sorted by both, prioritizing the first.
- Tap the up or down arrows to change the orientation of the sort:
- To apply the sort criteria, tap Apply.
-
To remove the sort criteria (and revert back to the default display order), tap Reset. Reset removes all applied filters and sort criteria:
Updates to work order filters
We’ve updated how filters appear and work for better ease of use and visual clarity.
The work order filter button now changes colors (from to
) when filters are applied.
A new Reset button removes previously-applied filters and sort criteria, and restores the list filters to their default (All work orders, Status) and the list sort criteria to default (Date modified, newest first):
Updates to appearance of work order records
We’ve updated how work order records appear in the mobile app so that the information users need is visible in list view. Work order records appear as a “card”, with a variety of important information, including due date, priority, start date, status, and more, in list view:
The new work order cards have a dynamic design, adjusting depending on the status of the work order, the number of assets, and what sort criteria have been applied.
We've also added some visual details that make it easier to see and prioritize important work. Maintenance type and Priority badges have different colors that match their assigned colors in Fiix. Overdue work orders are highlighted in red:
Work order cards now show the following information:
- Maintenance type
- Status
- Work order code
- Priority
- Asset image (on work orders with only one assigned asset)
- Asset name(s)
- Summary of issue
- Assigned to
- Modified on
- Created on (if work order list is sorted by date created)
- Start date (if work order list is sorted by suggested start date)
- Due date (if work order status is active, pending, or draft)
- Completed on (if work order is completed)
For full details on work order cards and how they adjust, see About work order cards on mobile.
Performance enhancements (Android)
We've made a number of performance-related enhancements to improve user experience on Android devices. This includes speeding up the logout process and improving the responsiveness of the interface when viewing parts lists.
