Before you begin
Deleting a folder is permanent and also deletes the dashboards and looks inside it. You cannot recover deleted folders.

You can delete folders within My folder and the Group folder. Deleting a folder also deletes any looks and dashboards inside it.
To delete a folder:
- Navigate to the Group folder or My folder.
- Click the actions button next to the folder you want to delete.
- In the menu, click Delete:
- To confirm that you want to delete the folder, type the its name exactly as it appears in the folder list.
