Setting a password policy for your organization allows you to automatically prompt users to reset their password after a certain number of days.
Password expiration policy is turned off by default. When turned on, the default number of days before your users' passwords expire is set to 90. The number of days before passwords expire can be set between 1 and 364.
To set a password policy for your organization:
- Navigate to Settings > Users.
- Click Settings:
- Click Password Expiration.
- In the Password Expiration Policy field, enter the number of days that passwords will be valid for. For example, to set passwords to expire after 90 days, enter "90".
- Switch on the Enable Password Policy toggle:
- Click Save.
After the set period of time, users will be prompted to reset their password:
