Add completion details on a work order (v6)

There are two places you can add completion details:

• In the tasks associated with a work order
• In the work order itself

This article describes the process for adding completion details directly on a work order. If you have tasks associated with the work order, you can add completion details to the tasks instead. 

To add completion details on a work order:

1. If the work order you want to add completion details for isn't already open, click it in the work order list (in Maintenance > Work Orders).
2. Click the Completion tab:
   
3. To record which user completed the work order:
   1. In the Completed By field, click the Add button.
   2. Select the user who completed the work order.
   3. Click Save.
4. To record when the work order was completed:
   1. In the Completion Date and Time field, use the calendar and time controls to enter the completion date and time.
   2. Click the checkmark button:
      
5. To record how much time was spent on the work order, enter values in the Hours and Minutes fields.
6. To add notes to the work order, enter them in the Completion Notes field.
7. Click Save.
