Change your password

Before you begin

This article is about changing the password for an existing user account. If you're trying to set your password for a brand-new account, see Set your password instead.

There are a few ways you can initiate a password reset:

Forgot your password?

Use this method if you have forgotten your password, and your user account has an email address associated with it. If you forgot your password, but don't have an email address on your account, contact your administrator instead.

To change your password from the login screen:

  1. On the login screen, click the Forgot your password? link:

  2. In the dialog that appears, enter the email address associated with your account.

  3. Click OK.

  4. When you receive the password reset email, click the Reset Password link.

  5. Enter (and re-enter) a new password:

  6. Click OK.

Change your password from within the app

Use this method if you haven't forgotten your password, but still want to change it.

To change your password from within the app:

  1. Click the Account button:

  2. In the Security and Access section, click Change Password:

  3. Enter your current password.

  4. Enter (and re-enter) a new password.

  5. Click OK.

Contact your administrator

If you can't log in to the app, and your user account doesn't have an email address associated with it, contact your administrator to reset your password for you.
