We updated the shared dashboards feature so that the filters that managers and administrators apply will also filter the dashboard for any users assigned it.
Although non-manager/non-admin users can also filter widgets in shared dashboards, their filters only affect their view; their filters are not applied for other users.
To filter a shared dashboard for your users:
Click the edit icon in the header of the widget you want to filter:
Apply the necessary filters by selecting the checkbox next to the filter you want to apply and then specifying the filter parameters:
On the confirmation dialog, click Proceed to confirm your changes.
