Release Notes: February 18, 2020

We updated the shared dashboards feature so that the filters that managers and administrators apply will also filter the dashboard for any users assigned it.

Although non-manager/non-admin users can also filter widgets in shared dashboards, their filters only affect their view; their filters are not applied for other users.

To filter a shared dashboard for your users:

  1. Click the edit icon in the header of the widget you want to filter:

Cursor pointing to Edit icon in the header of a dashboard widget
  2. Apply the necessary filters by selecting the checkbox next to the filter you want to apply and then specifying the filter parameters:

Configure Widget window with the Asset filter applied.
  3. Click Save.

  4. On the confirmation dialog, click Proceed to confirm your changes.
