This article will explain how to scan a QR Code or Barcode to view Asset details using the Fiix CMMS App. Follow the steps below.
- Click on the Scan button at the bottom of the app
- Scan the QR Code or Barcode
- You will be taken to the Asset details page
Note that if an invalid QR/ barcode is scanned, you will get an error message - ‘Item not found’.
If you have multisite enabled on your system and you are in site A, trying to scan an Asset that belongs to site B, you will get an error message saying ‘Item not found' as well.
The iOS app will also show you your current Site.
