New Fiix CMMS App-Change Asset Status

This article will explain how you can track the downtime of your equipment using the Fiix CMMS App.

This is a feature that allows a user to change the status of an Asset from Online to Offline and vice-versa.

You may also set an Asset Online or Offline via a Work Order.

 

To Set an Asset Offline:

See the steps below.

Step 1. Click on Assets

Step 2. Click on the toggle to turn the asset offline

When an authorized user changes the status from Online to Offline, you will see a pop up prompting the user to select a Reason to set Offline (this is a mandatory field) and the user may add notes if necessary.

 

For Android

Once you select the Reason and save it, the Asset status changes to Offline and the change will be visible to others once the sync happens.

 

To Set an Asset Online:

 

Step 1. Click on Assets

Step 2. Click on the toggle to turn the asset online

 

When you change the status from Offline to Online, they will see a pop up prompting them to select a Reason to set Online (this is a mandatory field). They will have the option of adding notes and logging hours affected.

 

For Android

Once you complete the mandatory fields on this form and Save it, the status of the asset will be changed from Offline to Online and the change will be visible to others once the automatic or manual sync happens.
