Every work order in the CMMS has a unique QR code associated with it, which you can include on printed work order forms. You can also configure barcodes or QR codes for your assets and parts, which you can affix to them to find them easily using the scanner.
Both the Android and iOS apps have a scanner that you can open from the navigation bar. The apps support scanning barcodes and/or QR codes on the following items:
- Work orders
- Parts (iOS only)

To scan a barcode or QR code:
- Click the scanner icon in the navigation bar.
- Use your device camera to scan the barcode or QR code.
The app opens the details for the work order, asset, or (on iOS only) part that you scanned.
Note: If your organization has multi-site configured, and you scan an asset for a location that you don't have access to, the app won't open the asset's details, but will instead show a message indicating that the item could not be found.
