Version: v6 Work Orders (what does this mean?)
This release includes the following changes to v6 Work Orders:
v6 Work Order permissions
In this release, you can now configure permissions for v6 Work Orders, allowing different user groups to have different permissions. For example, one user group might be able to edit work orders and tasks, while another group can only view them.
To access v6 Work Orders permissions, navigate to Settings > User Groups and click the user group you want to configure permissions for. Click the Work Orders tab:
The four categories of permissions (View, Create, Edit, and Delete) are displayed:
Clicking Show Items allows you to view individual permissions within each category. You can then select or deselect the permission checkboxes as needed:
Some permissions have prerequisite permissions that are required for the permission to work properly (e.g. “View work orders and work order details” is required for “Edit work orders”). Setting a permission with a prerequisite will automatically set its prerequisite permissions.
To learn more about each specific permission, see Work Orders permissions (v6).
