This release includes the following changes:
Fiix prescriptive maintenance
Fiix prescriptive maintenance uses generative AI technology to extend the capabilities of Asset Risk Predictor and simplify the process of addressing the risks it identifies. When it creates a prescriptive maintenance work order, it automatically populates the the summary, work instructions, and labor tasks using data from your CMMS:
The tool populates this information in one of two ways:
- Using data from your CMMS, such as manuals, work instructions, tasks, and completion notes. This option requires that you upload at least one document to the asset record, or that the asset has at least one closed work order from the past year.
- With generic data based on the asset and sensor descriptions. This option allows you to use Fiix prescriptive maintenance even if you don’t meet the data requirements listed above. However, it does require that the descriptions contain the name of the specific asset or sensor, so that the tool can identify them. For example, “Marangoni Strip Winder” would work for identifying an asset, but “STRP-02” wouldn’t.
Fiix prescriptive maintenance automatically selects the appropriate option based on the data requirements listed above. In other words, you don’t need to specify which option you want to use.
If you've switched on the risk-based work orders feature, these work orders will use Fiix prescriptive maintenance automatically. The only other steps to set it up are uploading manuals, updating asset and sensor names, and/or adding additional information to your past work orders.
